Youth baseball in Cobb is conducted by volunteer organizations
that use Cobb facilities for practices and games. If you wish
to become involved in an activity, please call or e-mail the
association of your choice or contact a staff member of the
Athletics Unit.

baseball association holds registration at times determined
by the association. Please contact the association
or see their web site for specific information regarding
their registrations. General registration information
is as follows:

Milford
Little League Umpire Selected for World Series
Don Dozier, an umpire for the Milford Little
League, was selected to umpire this years Little League World
Series in Williampsport, PA. He was selected based on his
excellent abilities as an umpire and his years of dedicated
volunteer service to Little League.
Every umpire selected to umpire the World Series is given
a home plate game during the tournament's pool play round.
The top umpires as evaluated during pool play are then selected
to umpire during the semi-final round. Don was selected to
call the plate during one of the US semi-final games. Based
on his performance during the semi-final round, Don has been
assigned to call home plate for the US Championship game to
be played Saturday, August 23rd at 3:30pm on ABC-TV.
Congratulations to Don and thank you for your dedicated volunteer
service to Milford Little League and the children of our Cobb
County Community.
