Camp Horizon

Serving People With Special Needs

A highly mobile and outdoor camp which includes activities such as art & crafts, nature, music, drama, sports & games, swimming, cooking projects and field trips. Participants will be placed in camp groups according to age and disability ratio.

Camp Information

• Ages: 7-21



• Fee: $85 per week



• Camp Hours: 9am-4pm (Monday - Friday)

Ward Recreation Center
Fair Oaks Recreation Center

Ron Anderson Recreation Center

• Registration for returning campers: 
  Wednesday, April 16, 2008 from 6:00 - 7:00pm at each camp site

• Registration for new campers only: 
  Wednesday, April 23, 2008 from 6:00 - 7:00pm at the Cobb County Parks, Recreation and Cultural Affairs administrative offices located at 1792 County Services Parkway , Marietta , GA   30008

New campers to the program should call the TRS division at (770) 819-3257 to schedule an assessment interview as far in advance as possible.
