Silver Comet Trail

A scenic 12.8 mile multi-use paved trail that begins in Smyrna and travels west through southern parts of the county. Casual walkers, hikers, joggers, bicyclists, inline skaters and people with disabilities can all use the trail and enjoy the same sights once reserved for the train's passengers. Click here for more info

Heritage Park Trails

Heritage Park is a natural park offering a 1.7 mile soft surface walking trail winding through 105 acres with 14.3 acres of wetland on four separate sites. Visitors can follow the trail through peaceful, natural areas that are habitats for many animal and plant species. The trail crosses Nickajack Creek and leads to the remains of a woolen mill dating back to the Civil War era.  Click here for more info

East Cobb Park

A combination of slate and natural surface walking trails encompasses the park. Pavilions, open grass areas, creek overlooks and a playground offer the visitor hours of enjoyment.  Click here for more information

Corp Property
