Camp Horizon

Serving People With Special Needs

Camp Horizon is an indoor and outdoor camp, which includes such activities as arts and crafts, nature, music, drama, sports and games, and swimming. Campers will be placed in camp groups according to age and ability level. We are not able to accept campers on a one-to-one ratio, nor can we accept campers under the age of 7 or over 21. All campers must bring lunch and drink every day unless notified otherwise.

General Information

Camp Horizon is an indoor and outdoor camp which includes such activities as arts & crafts, nature, music, drama, sports & games, swimming, pet therapy and dance. We are not able to accept campers who require one-to-one care. All campers must bring lunch and drink every day unless otherwise notified.

Fees

Camp is $110 per week which includes weekly field trips and swimming.

New Campers

New campers require a pre-registration assessment. To schedule an appointment, contact Ann Bonds at (770) 819-3257 or ann.bonds@cobbcounty.org.

Locations

Camp Horizon will be held at the following locations: Fair Oaks Park, Fullers Park, & Lost Mountain Park (Ward Recreation Center).









New campers to the program should call the TRS division at (770) 819-3257 to schedule an assessment interview as far in advance as possible
