Part-Time Positions
There are numerous part-time employment opportunities with Cobb
Parks, Recreation and Cultural Affairs Department. Part-time
positions include year-around positions and seasonal positions.

Scorekeepers
Needed at Al Bishop Complex
The
Al Bishop Softball
Complex is seeking competent part-time scorekeepers
for hire during the upcoming 2008 league and tournament
seasons. Play begins March 8th and will continue through
October. League games are played Monday through Friday nights
beginning March 17th at 6:30pm, and tournaments are played
each weekend from March 8th through Labor Day. Applicants
must be at least 16 years old, and must commit to a minimum
work schedule of two weeknights and one weekend shift. Additional
hours are often available. Scorekeeping experience is preferred,

Art Instructors Wanted
The
Art Station – Big Shanty is looking for new art instructors.
We specifically need artists experienced in teaching drawing
and watercolor to children ages 6 – 10, but instructors
versed in any medium and any age group are welcome to apply.

Recreation
Centers - Summer Camp Directors, Assistant Directors
and Counselors. Job responsibilities include planning camp
activities, attending session, working 8 weeks full-time
during the summer between the hours of 7:30am - 5:30pm,
Monday through Friday, supervising and instructing daily
activities of campers to include arts and crafts, gym games,
swimming, science projects, field trips, games, etc., and
responsible for safety and supervision of children. Must
be a positive role-model with a good attitude and willing
to have lots of fun with the children. Must be physically
fit, able to walk distances on field trips and swim on pool
days. Camp Director has additional responsibilities. Contact

Cobb
Therapeutics and Special Olympics - Volunteers
are needed to assist staff and instructors with special
needs participants in a variety of settings. Special Olympics
Cobb certifies volunteers and coaches and assistant coaches
